When you book Trevor Justice to perform at your school, not only will he dazzle your student body … Trevor will lead a workshop for your classmates too. And you get to choose the topic. The workshops he offers are as follow:
A World Without Bigotry Starts With You
In this participatory workshop, you’ll learn to use the “Santa Claus” mentality to chuckle at put downs, rather than taking offense. You’ll hear insults as a bigot’s way of propping himself up, rather than as truth about you. But that’s just the beginning.
How To Thrive On A Vegetarian Diet
If you’re attracted to vegetarian or raw foods, let Trevor Justice show you how to meet all of your nutritional needs. A vegetarian for 13 years, Justice is an expert on whole food recipes and proper food combining.
In this eye-opening lecture, you’ll learn to avoid the common pitfalls that can put your health at risk. You’ll discover the best vegan sources of protein, calcium, Omega 3, and vitamins A, D, and B12. You’ll learn which foods are most healthful raw, and which are more digestible cooked.
You’ll also learn practical tips. For example, are you tired of waiting for avocados to ripen? Do your bananas turn brown too fast? Learn to control the ripening of your fruit. Do you eat beans? Learn to release their gas-producing sugar before you eat them—minimizing gas, bloating, and indigestion.
How Self Love Makes You Powerful In Relationships
If Santa Claus came down the chimney bringing wonderful gifts, only to be met by a nasty “Scrooge” who put him down, would Santa think any less of himself? Or would he chuckle, knowing that Scrooge was the one with issues to work on?
In this eye-opening seminar, you’ll learn to love yourself and show others that you’re a prize. Like Santa, you’ll learn to view other people’s reactions—whether positive and negative—in a way that affirms what a great catch you are. And when your lover doesn’t treat you right, you’ll learn the secret to being instantly valued more (without ever having to complain).
How To Write Unforgettable Songs
After majoring in music composition at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Justice was invited to join 44 of New York’s top composers and lyricists in the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop. That’s where he studied with Maury Yeston. He’s also been groomed by hit songwriters Andre Pessis, Lorraine Ferro, and Steve Seskin.
In this groundbreaking lecture, you’ll learn to balance melodic repetition with chord changes that propel your song forward—and “climb” into your choruses. You’ll discover the secrets to writing unforgettable melodies that linger in your listener’s ears. And you’ll learn how to choose between 3/4 and 4/4.
In the lyric department, you’ll discover how to write music that matches the emotion of your lyrics. And you’ll learn to identify the common blunders made by amateur lyricists—so you can avoid them.
